Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel

We stayed here for one night, the room was clean and quite basic, a little small, however adequate for ones nights stay, we didn't receive that famous country charm, which is a shame, the restaurant cade is within the building, but, doesn't seem to have a close relationship, (any), with the hotel, all in all a fairly average experience.

Seriously…cannot believe the positive reviews of this hotel. The decor is circa 1985. No update at all. The bathroom has chipped vanity no room to put anything on. The price you pay for the tiniest room is just crazy. Ice cube trays empty. Rickety outdoor old stairs to get to your room. The loudest air-con & jacuzzi is deafening. Only street parking. No Foxtel this motel needs a complete refurbish. We had dinner at Gigis in Mudgee which is part of Clairfield Motel which looks fantastic. Wish we would have stayed there.

Really pretty, comfortable and quiet hotel right in the centre of town. Huge room, huge bathroom. Great bedding etc. Special mention to the girl on reception when we arrived. It was her first shift and she was great! Super helpful. Will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Very centrally located on a corner in Main Street. As it says on the tin:small, boutique hotel. Bathroom had a large bath with jacuzzi-like jets—just what we needed after a 12 hour drive from Brisbane. Close to restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops.

We are actually staying here at present. Our room has an ice cube tray but it was empty when we arrived. We were going to have a drink in our room so asked at reception if they could please give us a glass of ice. Response was - NO we don’t have any ice. Cobwebs and bird droppings as you walk up the stairs. Seriously- why would you even stay here for the prices they charge. No prices for mini bar - even charge for water. No Netflix or Foxtel. Forget it!!

Quick trip to Mudgee and friends regularly stay at Cobb & Co, figured would be okay. More than okay! This is a very pretty establishment with period fittings though through the rooms. Great eye for detail! The bed was very comfortable with a sumptuous amount of pillows. What was most pleasing was the helpful attention of the team while booking while ‘on the road’.

The accommodation is attached to a restaurant which is also a wedding venue. Upon check in, I had to walk through a wedding reception where speeches were happening in order to access our room. The wedding was obviously extremely noisy with guests rightfully enjoying the reception however the rooms are directly above the reception location and it is extremely noisy. We had to move our dinner reservation to an earlier time because the noise was too much. I would not recommend to stay here. The hotel also takes no responsibility for the noise, and at $265 a night, you’d think you could sit and enjoy your room without the noise. Further, there’s no lift and the stairs are very narrow. This is not inclusive and also means it is impossible to bring larger luggage up the stairs.

Impromptu two nights booking having cancelled a reservation at another venue. Staff so friendly and helpful on the phone and reception. Room was comfortable and location excellent. There was some noise upstairs and outside but that was advised. Would happily return

Great old-world charm. Nicely appointed rooms with a little extra touch that makes it stand out. We stayed one night, it was quiet had no noise issue. location great very central to eateries. Reception was very pleasant and helpful, chocolates on arrival. Our room upstairs was beautiful we had a spa bath. Would I stay again? Most definately.
